Phototherapy Unit MD-PU-1000 is a neonatal light therapy unit that uses blue tube or LED as a light source. Enclosed in a plastic crib and exposed to blue light (photochemical effect) that is absorbed by patient’s skin for bilirubin breakdown. Features five bulbs, electronic ballast and LED display timer ensuring phototherapy effectiveness.
